A visit to the ceramic barn has been part of our holiday program for years! Always with you, of course, a visit to the Hofrichter wood lathe! There is always something new to discover here, with friendly and courteous staff. Some time ago we bought several lamps, including one with a lightbulb in a glass bottle, which unfortunately broke when I moved. There was no replacement to be found! Even at this difficult time, Mr. Hofrichter took care of himself immediately after a call and made a new one by hand! A few weeks later I was able to pick it up directly! Many thanks again! In her new home she is now providing warmth and comfort again and also makes the insulation measures currently in force bearable! Thanks also for the many other good and unique pieces that make our home more homely! Definitely a recommendation to have a look again and again! There is always something new and very extravagant to discover that cannot be found in any other place!

Now, just before Christmas, you are almost alone in every store. The dealers make almost no turnover. Very sad something. Nevertheless, everyone is very friendly and helpful. Those who still can should take this last opportunity and do the Christmas business.
Actually a really interesting facility. However, some shops are way behind the times. Today, contactless payment is a standardized means of payment and you don't want to be complained about as a customer. Especially nowadays you should be satisfied with the customers ... who come by and buy something.
We like it very much in the barn. We love to come back whenever we are
Great building nicely done
Cafe and bakery very good. Very friendly staff. No junk in the shops for high prices. A large part is reserved for artists. Not mine. Card payments are not possible everywhere so only 4 stars. The most delicious chocolate cake is here!
A very beautiful old building that has already been turned into a sight on its own. Inside, very beautiful, lovingly furnished shops that invite you to shop. It's worth paying a visit there (including shopping, of course).
Large building, nicely restored. Lots of shops, coffee with delicious cakes. Worth it!
You expect a barn that is filled with handicrafts from the region and you get a hall that is half empty. No flair at all. Partly purchased goods from Asia. Do you need that? At the moment we found it questionable that there is a big sign in the candle shop - you don't need a mask and you should give everyone their freedom. Hallelujah, they didn't hear the bang.
Once again I am enthusiastic about the enthusiasm and zest for action in a village / a municipality / a region to preserve the historical and at the same time not only secure the future, but also improve it. Ecological as well as economical!
The building is fascinating. In the café there is good coffee and delicious home-made biscuits from the friendly staff. The range of breakfast and cakes also looked very good - but we haven't tried it yet. We were there for the first time in 2018. At that time there was a wonderful photo exhibition on the upper floor and many craft stalls in the great hall. Unfortunately we never saw it again, maybe we were always there on the wrong dates. The individual shops are also very nice.
A flea market was advertised everywhere but 80% of the items were new. Only a handful of real flea market stalls. In addition, in the right shops, a cream that costs 2 euros is advertised here for 8 euros, a chocolate that should cost 7 euros is offered elsewhere for less than half. Sure everyone wants to earn something, but here billo stuff is sold at exorbitant prices. No wonder that half of the area is empty. Absolutely not worth it.
Old venerable and beautiful building. Were there 4 years ago and we really liked the shops too. Yesterday we were very disappointed! The building is still very nice, but what is sold there is almost nothing but junk. Only the wood goods dealer and the potter are great. In addition, the cake from the coffee is very tasty and the saleswoman is super nice.
Nice building, nicely done but not busy. The offer is manageable. For me not a place that I would have to visit a second time. Maybe wrong day and wrong time.
The barn is beautiful on the outside. In the barn there are individual small shops that leave a lot to be desired. The fact that these shops are badly attended is not due to Corona. The choice of products is nothing special - candles and clothes. The candles don't look bad, but they come at a steep price. Of course, card payment is not possible and this is clearly indicated upon receipt. In addition, used books and magazines are offered - as if someone wanted to get rid of their bulky waste. I'm sorry, but it doesn't match. The clothing is not worth mentioning as it is neither interesting nor original. On Sundays when there is little activity, there is no piece of cake left at 3:30 p.m., although the shop has coffee and cake in its name. The concept is just inconclusive.
It is worth a visit, but there are many of the things on offer there that are also available elsewhere. The marketplace was not in use. Inflexible saleswoman in the candle shop. Some of the handicrafts were very nicely done. Toilets were clean and there was enough parking space on both sides.
A beautiful building with shops that invite you to stroll. We were absolutely thrilled by the photo exhibition. Unfortunately the restaurant couldn't convince us. The very rude waitress ignored us for about 30 minutes and we had to drive hungry. A shame😣
Well designed and plenty to see even with Covid
A cool place anyway, unfortunately only below. Great exhibition of the world's best photographs until September 2nd. Definitely worth seeing, otherwise only to be seen in London.
feel well interior, but way too expensive
A must if you are visiting Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. This historic barn combines many new impressions in the foundations of a barn made of field stones. The barn also has a hotel to offer in terms of gastronomy, culture, shops and entertainment. So an opportunity to get to know the other Mecklenburg and to get to know this historic barn at an event.

Very good cakes in coffee. Some nice shops. But art is not my cup of tea. But it is well known that there is good argument.
